Alaska’s northern most Elm wood stove is getting a make-over!

I am shipping parts to Prudhoe Bay, Alaska, to Jim Helmericks of Colville Village, proud owner of a 1988 Catalytic 36″ Elm stove. He is going to transform it into a secondary air Elm, to heat their home/ lodge in the very Northern part of Alaska. They heat 12 months of the year, and operate a big game guide service, …commercial fishing business, and is one of Alaska’s best known and most skilled “bush pilots”. We are proud to count Jim and his wife Teena and family as part of our family of happy Elm stove owners. Here is a photo of their home during the Alaskan Summer. You can learn more about their lives and businesses by going to Golden Plover Guiding Co. www.goldenplover.org
